The pirate pizzeria is hidden behind the main street in a smaller street. If you like 'Napolitan' style pizzas, this is the pizzeria you have to go to. The dough is very good and very well risen and prepared, as well as various combinations of what you can choose as a pizza topping. The pizzas are named after pirates, and the pizzeria is also equipped and decorated in pirate style. The staff is also friendly, maybe they could give us a little more time to think about the order. I chose pizza with pistachio and strachtella cheese, I can say for sure that the combination of dough and filling is definitely in the top 3 pizzerias that I have eaten in Croatia so far. The pizzas contain only olive oil, in case someone like me is allergic to sunflower oil. Very kind waiters, pleasant atmosphere! The pizza was super tasty - we tried the Torpedo (the hottest thing we've ever eaten; they were kind enough to give us milk to help), and it was a challenge. One big recommendation for Bistro Pirati Rijeka. The ambience is very very pleasant, the brunch is excellent and the staff is so kind and approachable that we will definitely come back when we find ourselves in Rijeka again.
