Surprisingly cool! Why "surprisingly"? well... the name itself doesn't really make you feel comfortable... (Smurfs' pub???). But in reality it's a rather honest pub! There's a great variety of beer: Belgian, German, Italian, artisanal,... I would recommend the handcrafted beer from Carrù and from Val di Susa (the beer Sorà Lamà). I didn't eat anything but some small pieces of pizza which came with the beer. I must say, I've eaten better pizzas (that's why I didn't put 5 stars), but it was a gift, so... cannot complain.Environment? Probably too much light for a pub (personal taste!). Some nice gadgets (barrels) and fancy wooden pictures hanging from the wall. Overall... informal and clean.Finally went to pay and (surprise) I saw the candies "Pastiglie Leone". Any bell ringing!? Yes, they are made in Torino!So, what? Beer, wine and candies from Piemonte... is the owner Piemontese?? Well, no. He is from Parma. He just said "the majority of the good things we eat and drink come from Piemonte. If you have a bit of eno-gastronomic culture, you should know".I (virtually!!) fell in love.Are you wondering if I come from Piemonte? No. I don't. But I agree so much with him!So, are you looking for a beer in an alternative pub, a bit outside the noise of the city centre? Go there!!And if you liked this review, please put a thumb up!! ;o)
