Charmante petite pâtisserie sans superflu, au bout de la vieille ville. Le rapport Qualité prix est sûrement imbattable dans toute l'Italie. Un vrai plaisir pour le palais à peu de frais.

I only bought their acclaimed panforte and cantucci, both of which were great although I felt that they were a tiny bit expensive, but I suppose that's the price of fame. Seems like a nice enough place and perhaps due to its location, it isn't too busy with tourists.

Bini Stalloreggi was one of the highlights of our food tour in Seina. The recipe for their panforte--Siena's prized version of an almond fruit cake--has been guarded and passed down for generations. It was so incredibly delicious, we bought several panforte cakes to give as gifts for family back home. We regretted not buying more, as this was one of our favorite and most memorable foods during our entire trip to Italy. We struggled not to eat the souvenirs and just buy replacement gifts at the airport. :) What made this pastry shop even more special, is that you can watch the elderly owners making the pastries in their kitchen next to the shop. Witnessing the strong family traditions and the pride of workmanship that lives strong in this beautiful little shop truly touched my heart. Please make your way here if you are in Siena, and for heaven's sake, try the panforte.
