I remember asking a friend about cool, lesser known places to frequent in Edmonton and one that immediately popped into her mind was Bibo Wine Bar. I’d vaguely heard about it previously but didn’t know much about it other than it was a wine bar (duh). Located in the Millcreek neighbourhood right beside their sister restaurant, Culina Mill Creek, you might miss it if you blink. Apparently, it’s the tiniest wine bar in Canada as it can only sit max 12 individuals. Craaaay.

Decide to try this place cause a good friend of mine lives in the area. The lady asked what wine I would like to try? I replied I like only Chilean wine. She expressed how weird It was to only like one type of wine from a country (so I mentioned I was Chilean) and she went into depth on how she's Canadian and would never just stick to wine from B.C. or to be Californian and sticking to Californian wine. Anyways after listening to these comments she did pour me some Chilean red and I enjoyed the wine with company but not the service. It was very unpleasant to see her eating a meal in front of us. Also overhearing her talk to other customers and swearing. A bit inappropriate? Maybe she had a few glasses....? Anyways cause of the low grade service and cheap decore with home appliances. I would not recommend this place and will not be coming back. Sure If you want to have a wine bar and charge expensive shouldn't the service and atmosphere be more polite and refined?
