This was a pleasant surprise. It is a fairly new restaurant by Italian standards so locals did not have a lot of information to provide. But the chef owner, Fabio, was such a delight! The staff was so attentive, and the food was delicious! Highly recommended! Real truffles ( not fake truffle oil) on carpaccio and fresh porcini mushroom pasta were some favorite dishes. Extra treat of decorations of classic bikes and jerseys if you’re a fan of Eroica or just bike racing in general. Thank you Fabio!!! Wonderful meal here after a day exploring Chianti. Highly recommend trying the Wild Boar Tortellini and Tuscan Beans - chefs kiss. Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also a hit! Thanks for the warm welcome and service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bettola dell'Eroico is an absolute gem! The handmade pastas are a game-changer and each dish feels crafted with attention to detail. The flavors are rich and authentic, showcasing the skill and dedication of Chef Fabio. He does not disappoint using the freshest ingredients and meats. Plus the large wine options make it easy to find the right one to compliment the meal. Exemplary customer service; the staff goes above and beyond and made our visits there memorable.
