Awful treatment of workers'. Guys, if you care about issue like workers' rights and just treatment, then STAY AWAY from this place. I know two waitresses who worked there and were not payed by the owners. The owners are rude and disrespect women; on ocassion they will ask male coworkers to pass a judgement on a female waitresses's looks. They pocket the tip and do not give it to the kitchen or wait stuff. Overall, they are not good people and they are not even from 'Bengal'. What they pass as 'bengal fish and curry' is actually a north american indomix which is neither authentic nor healthy. They buy cheap cod and throw it in some unhealthy grease and call it whatever they want.

Name is Bengali run by Punjabis. I was there today and the buffet was empty, not a single customer and the Owner who is a Punjabi looked very frustrated and angry. She was very rude and was yelling. Very bad, Very bad customer service and there was not a single Bengali item there. Name does not suit any of the dishes.

I saw this restaurant listed for sale, and wanted to check them out.

Food and service was really bad. We tried this first time. We thought it is a new location in Coquitlam. We didnt want the buffet. The food tasted old and bad. I had to ask few times that if the food was cooked fresh. they kept saying yes. The papads were stale. We told them that. Nothing happened. It felt they picked the food from buffet and gave it to us. The dal makhani was tasteless. We also ordered nan but none arrived. We ordered the full chicken it came with three legs. Never again. utterely bad food and service. Find another place to eat.
