Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. Even though we were the only guests in the restaurant, we had to wait 25 minutes for our order. I went to this restaurant today. The food was good, the waiter was friendly. But... When I wanted to use my Visa card, the waiter said, unfortunately mine doesn't work. Only German ec card or credit card!!! My card has been good so far everywhere in the world (England, Austria, Thailand, France.. etc.) So I didn't understand how this situation is possible in Germany. The waiter said he had informed his boss several times, but he hasn't done so yet. I also read another message where a woman had the answer: "maybe you don't have to pay more than 10 euros, or the machine doesn't work". So I think the boss doesn't want to do it. You have to write that somewhere, you're not allowed to pay with a card, just when is that German. So I then have to take cash from the ATM, which costs extra money for me. Then I asked, maybe then I could have extra offers, but I didn't get one.
