The waitress was very nice but the price was extremely expensive for the quality/quantity of the products. It is not indicated on the screen that products are unavailable The cookie dough ball is ridiculously small for €3.50 Let’s not even talk about carrot cake. We came here very often for ice cream. But in recent months you have to speak English when ordering and people refuse to understand Dutch. Since corona, it has been very difficult to find Dutch-speaking employees in the hospitality industry (as you may have noticed around you). Government policy has ensured that catering professionals have started to perform other activities. Our English staff do their best to understand Dutch, but since this is not an easy language and we are temporary students, it is easier to speak English with them since we learned a basic knowledge of English at primary school. The modernization of ordering kiosks is starting to take over throughout the Netherlands, due to the shortage of staff in the catering industry. The great thing about this is that you do NOT have to speak English to place an order. We have chosen to install digital menu screens so that every customer can enter an order in their desired language and language no longer has to be a barrier. We therefore hope to see you again in our stores so that you can enjoy a delicious ice cream! More
