I live around the corner, so I Went here last night, and while the quality, presentation and service were all exceptional the flavours could use some adjustments in my opinion. Here are some ideas you may want to consider: Key lime Reese’s Peanut butter & strawberry Lemon merengue Banana cream Banana toffee Coconut crème Crème brûlée Something with bacon Strawberry/raspberry filling Pistachio filling Pineapple filling Mango slices Hazelnut filling or topping Marzipan/almond paste Pumpkin and caramel Dark Chocolate and rum Wishing you the best. Tried a tiramisù doughnut. It was very bland to say the least. I was expecting a punch of coffee flavour but was left disappointed. The doughnut itself was good, but the filling was a bit sour and lacking taste. Definitely not worth the $6.30 price tag. Service was friendly though. In response to the owner's response: I completely understand how you may arrive at the retail price you are charging. I don't doubt the effort that goes into making the doughnuts is unparalleled, coupled with the operational costs. However, I believe you are missing my point. The doughnut I bought was lacking in flavour, the filling was sour, and there was little to no taste that resembled tiramisù at all. Therefore, the price I paid was definitely not reflected in the quality of the product. I don't mind paying if I feel the product is worth it. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Hello Review, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion. We are deeply sorry to learn that our prices are higher than you expected. Rest assured, there are multiple factors explain the cost of our donuts: their freshness, the quality of the ingredients we use, not to mention the incredible work done by our pastry chefs. From early hours in the morning, they get busy making by hand the donuts that will be served the same day, unlike other banners that produce them in mass and immediately froze them. Of course, all this at a price! However, rest assured that we are always looking for ways to cut costs without compromising the quality of our gourmet beauties. I’ve been 5 times since they’ve opened and have purchased most of their donuts - they have been a huge hit with all of our guests when we host! Beignes & Glaz always has us coming back for more! Please make more fritter donuts (apple or blueberry)! It’s probably your best offering and it’s been sold out 3/5 times i have been. The cream filled donuts stay fresher longer meaning they’re still good the next day. My only critique is the Reese donut - the cereal on top was soft and stale and did not taste or mimic Reese. Other than that, nice & clean little spot and staff is always friendly. Their cold brew coffee is very good! Service: Take out Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
