Tonight was the second time we've been here. The first time was takeout for 6 of us. The food was mainly good, but the "mild" was no where near MILD. The (mild) Chicken Biryani was actually too spicy hot to eat for a most of us. We ordered 2 Butter Chicken Burritos but received 2 butter chicken orders instead. We tried to call the next few days (as suggested when we picked up our order), but no one answered the phone. Tonight my wife, daughter, and I went in and sat down for dinner at approximately 6:30. I feel bad that our "server" obviously wasn't trained in serving. We ordered curried beef, Butter chicken Burrito, and Daal Makhani. They were out of curried beef... no biggie. We changed that to butter chicken. The orders came in a reasonable time. The food looked authentically prepared. The butter chicken burrito was pretty good. The naan bread was good once we patted the oil off it (maybe it's supposed to be that way). The mild butter chicken was sooo salty my wife couldn't finish it. The rice that came with the daal makhani was excellent. The mild daal makhani was soo hot my adult daughter couldn't finish it. There were 3 people working tonight. The waitress never once came back to check on us (or was in site of the dining area). We were out of water within minutes of getting our food. I had to get up and go into the kitchen to ask for our bill. It's been a very long time since I didn't leave a tip.... Tonight was that time :( If they were short-staffed they should have closed the dine-in area. I heard one of the other tables go to the kitchen and ask if their food was coming anytime soon. I wish this was a good experience tonight. Sadly.... it wasn't. I hope our experiences were not the normal. I sure hope they can turn things around as we would love to have great Indian Mexican food in Fergus.

We had the dinner for two option and it was fantastic! We enjoyed the Paneer makhani and Dal makhani. My only complaint would be the rice portion included was small, almost a portion for 1 not 2, so I'd get extra rice if you like lots of rice like I do, but there was plenty of Naan included so that made up for it. Overall we really enjoyed it! Thanks Beers n Cheers! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$50–60

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I didn't really enjoy the food. Service wasn't amazing, but it was ok. I don't think i will be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
