Wanted to try here for awhile but honestly, it's just okay. For $5 you can get better doughnuts with a cleaner shop, and better service, and unfortunately the doughnut I bought although tasty gave me an allergic reaction, when I've never had any allergies before to food. The donut flavors seem unique and curated, however, the shop itself is dingy. All of the couches are disgusting with stains and I was concerned when I looked at them. It appears that each donut needs to be individually made which means that they are going to be nice and fresh when you eat them and not soggy, which is nice. However, the service is severely lacking. I bought the basic Marula. The cream was light, with no real amarula flavor unfortunately. The caramel was nice but it almost tasted slightly burnt? Not entirely unpleasant but did not seem to be fitting with the flavor profiles listed. The doughnut itself was okay, nothing special but still okay. Unfortunately after I left I had a respiratory reaction that lasted 7 hours and required me to get checked out in urgent care. I was fine but still was pretty strange and scary.
