We (a friend from Berchem and I) were looking for a nice place to meet near Berchem Station. Now I had a Bongo voucher and it said Bar'rique, so why not try this? The friend had already been there, so I made a reservation. Ah yes, of course there is still room for breakfast, ma'am. Ouch with Bongo (immediately a lot less friendly)... ??? This is only possible at 9am. Which is early, because I'm from Ghent. Even though the quality may be top-notch, it gives me a feeling of stinginess. So it won't be Bar'rique from now on, unfortunately, but ideally located for when we meet up. I actually seriously wonder why such things participate in Bongo etc., if they don't really support it. That's a really bitter pill to swallow, you get a gift voucher for your birthday and then you're approached like a beggar asking for a free breakfast or something like that. That voucher has been paid, hasn't it? I would approach that very differently. I will return to all the places where I had good experiences with a Bongobon afterwards. Called elsewhere, and luckily we enjoyed a happy birthday there.

You can make continuous reservations on weekdays (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.). We advertise this in several places on our website and Bongo is also aware of this. We therefore regret that this information has apparently not reached you. We are also very sorry that you did not come to eat with us and were not able to enjoy the atmosphere and conviviality in Bar'rique, but you do give us a rating of 2/5.
