What a pity! I have eaten many times in this place and the last time in 2021 I think...probably shortly after they handed over the management. I returned today for lunch and I was shocked...the place is very neglected, if you look up the ceiling and the walls are full of dirt and spiders...the external space left to itself with an accumulation of stuff piled up...so as not to talk about the unbearable smell of fried food that sticks to you. The menu appears to be printed on Word with very unappealing colors and graphics. The dishes have obviously changed, for the worse, but the prices have remained the same... the owner, or at least I think it's him, presents himself really badly... he doesn't expect a jacket and tie but not even a sandwich maker outside the sori rave, that's it. I ordered spaghetti with clams...17€ for spaghetti stuck in parsley and garlic oil...we only had a first course and my partner a tiramisu...a brick-like slice of sponge cake and cream and coffee...a semifreddo...coffee unthinkable made with waffles. The wine glasses that we didn't use having taken water were full of fingerprints or greasy, I can't say... for a total of €50. We still left hungry but honestly we just didn't feel like spending more money on dishes that didn't deserve them. The only positive note was the kindness of the waitress. I end as I started...what a shame...the barisone was a splendid place with fantastic staff and excellent food...always full of people and well looked after...never again. I had a very good experience at Trattoria Barisone. Their 10 euro lunch menu offers a variety of options, including fresh fish. I was impressed by the quality of the dishes, especially the fish based ones. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere during the meal.
