This place is excellent. Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner. Had the calamari, tomato dip, beet salad, eggplant pizza, and the ravioli. Excellent. Brad was our server and was excellent. He took good care of us, and made some excellent suggestions. 10/10. I’m coming back for sure. Alex our waiter was fabulous. He was so fabulous we came back two days in a row. These guys run a happy hour and it's a genuine happy hour. They are happy for you to drink as much as possible in that time and no up selling or pushing to spend more. Alex's upbeat and friendly nature and knowledge of the food is exceptional. His choices were spot on. Love their pizzas, beautifully strong and well made cocktails. Love this place. Highly recommended. Very clean and well organised. Without a doubt one of the best summer patio spots in downtown Calgary! Located literally on the corner of 2nd street and Stephen Ave, it is situated perfectly for good eats and people watching on a hot summer day. The decor is beautiful, the patio has two levels, ambience is unbeatable, food is terrific, and service is outstanding. What’s even better is the price is actually not as expensive as you might expect. Pretty unbeatable package. The food is expertly prepared, displays attention to detail, and arrives fast. The drinks are quite varied, plenty of interesting cocktails, and good beer/wine selections. Only been here twice but Barbarella Bar is becoming my favorite summer lunch spot in downtown Calgary.
