Our visit to Bar Raket started on a positive note. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the chef, setting a welcoming tone for the evening. The initial service was friendly and attentive, which made us hopeful for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, things quickly took a disappointing turn. After placing our orders, we waited a staggering 50 minutes for our mains, during which we observed the servers engrossed in socializing with friends dining at the bar. This lack of attentiveness became more apparent as our dissatisfaction grew. Despite our visible frustration, there was no acknowledgment from the staff. Instead, the service deteriorated entirely, with no offers for refills or additional drinks once ours were finished. The tipping point was witnessing a server roll her eyes at us, an action that left us feeling unwelcome and further ignored for the remainder of our visit. This unprofessional behavior made it clear we were no longer a priority, and we couldn’t wait to leave. While the ambiance and initial greeting held promise, the lack of attentiveness and poor service overshadowed any positives and left a poor taste despite the food actually being delicious.
