Hi David, When you came in yesterday, not only did you seat yourself, but while the …Hi David, When you came in yesterday, not only did you seat yourself, but while the bartender was getting you a water, you pointed at a beer on the menu and ordered from our chef…an interaction that took all of less than a minute from when you entered to when you sat. When the bartender came back with your beer, you gave him $10 and didn’t say a word. He asked me for your $0.55 change, which we grabbed for you. Apologies if you thought our barman was “snotty,” but you did not speak more than three words to him. I can assure you that “insulted” is the last thing we’d be when patrons come into our bar. First and foremost, our sincere apologies that your experience was not up to your standard. There was a mishap with the desserts, but your appetizers and entrées were promptly fired, and served as soon as we could.
Your meal may have taken slightly longer than usual, as the bar was completely full on Monday evening. Due to the cut of the meat, we do not ask for temperatures on the steak frites - as it requires a particular cook to remain tender. That said, should you have any specific requests or require anything from us throughout the evening, we always encourage guests to inform their server. We've had guests rave about the YYC Experience, so I do apologize that you did not have the same experience. Additionally, I spoke with your server and he does apologize that you found his service awkward and inattentive.
He will be sure to take note of this in his future interactions.More
