Because we always found this a cozy place when the Curve was still here, we decided to give Bar Baron a chance. The service was quite inexperienced but very friendly. Cutlery was given in a jar, which wasn't a big deal, but we were missing 2 forks and 2 knives after our starter. These were replenished immediately upon request. We were also missing 2 napkins in the beginning, because we were 4 people. The drinks were tasty and beautifully served, with some herbs, and the snacks were very successful! Small tip: when 4 people eat snacks, also give 4 slices of bread instead of 2. After asking the waiter, we did get this supplemented free of charge. We ordered spaghetti Baron (with Bolognese sauce) and spaghetti veggie. The veggie was tasty, but the Bolognese sauce with the spaghetti Baron was watery so it didn't stick to the pasta but still remained in the bowl as a bottom. Another little tip: serve the cheese in a separate jar and not on top. This way the guest can choose how much or little he puts on it. We will certainly try again in a few months.
