I rarely leave reviews, yet this place has inspired me to leave one just because it was that great. First Bulgarian cuisine I’ve tried and I now don’t know how I’m going to eat anything else! We ordered two dishes, some kind of beef stew under the cooked dishes section (HIGHLY recommend) and some beef steaks under the grill section (also highly recommend) both of which were recommended by the lovely and kind waitress. I’ve never had anything quite like it before, the beef on both was so tender it melted in the mouth and the flavour of both left nothing to be desired. As an avid salt and pepper user I found myself touching neither for both dishes, even the steak. I was relatively full before entering this restaurant for dinner yet found myself eating 5 mini steaks and a decent amount of my partners stew and wanting more. We also ordered the homemade crisps which were delicious by themselves and even better dipped in the stew. We arrived close to closing time during the summer (less busy season) so the place was relatively empty, however the kind and chatty waitress more than made up for that. My partner is Bulgarian and was also thoroughly impressed by the dishes and we will definitely be returning as this place had some of the best traditional Bulgarian food he has tried. I recently visited this restorant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we walked in, the staff's attitude was unwelcoming and dismissive. The service was incredibly slow, and the servers seemed uninterested in providing even the most basic level of customer care. The food was another major disappointment. It was poorly prepared, lacking in flavor, and definitely not worth the price. It's clear that attention to detail and quality are not priorities in this kitchen. The only positive aspect of the evening was the atmosphere. The ambiance was relatively pleasant, with a decent interior design. However, even that couldn't make up for the overall poor experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or service. There are far better options available. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: BGN 100+ Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1
