I used to love The Bakers Table and would visit regularly for their amazing pastries and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been incredibly disappointing. It seems there's been a change in the kitchen, and the new chef is just not up to par. The food quality has really declined—everything tastes bland and stale now, nothing like the delicious treats they used to serve. On top of that, the customer service has become horrendous. The staff seem disinterested and rude, and they frequently get orders wrong without any apology or effort to make things right. It's sad to see a place I once loved become so unrecognizable. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this bakery anymore.

I have noted many positive reviews but my recent experience was far from positive. I ordered a banana cream birthday cake for my grandaughter. I do feel $40 for a 8 inch cake is pricey. Was going to purchase a couple of small meatballs at the deli until informed they were $4.50 each one. Decided to get veal on a bun for hubby's dinner but was inedible as the veal was so tough and chewy. It thrown out. When I returned to pick up the cake, I informed the cashier about the terrible veal- she nicely apologized. So, asked to speak to manager and was offered a replacement meal which was an appreciated gesture. So took chicken on a bun this time and it too was thrown out as very dry and really tastless. The cake was astonishingly heavy and think there was no sugar in it at all. Guests took a couple of bites and left it. So glad others had good experiences but 2 poor experiences is enough for me.

It's evident that they take great pride in their work, and it shows in every interaction. Here's to hoping that The Baker's Table maintains its exceptional class for centuries to come.
