The current location is from Park Road. The place used to be the closed Thai House Restaurant. The new store is quite spacious, surrounded by glass windows on one side of the dining room, with plenty of light from outside, and the interior decoration is very modern. I personally think that the restaurant’s indoor environment is really good, but the food standard is only average. The taste of the food is inconsistent each time, which is a bit disappointing, but it is still worth a try. This was legit chinese food. Very Asian tasting. Smoked fish was very complex tasting. Really fermented stinky tofu in a good way. Their meat cakes are bomb. A fun takeout experience. Super recommended. The Shanghai Pan-Fried Bao is better than Xiaolongbao. The soup is rich, the skin is thin and the bottom is hard and crunchy. The owners if this place are scammers - delete all negative reviews and keep only the positive ones on the restaurants website. Haha. Great move. I’m not sure if the positive reviews are even real, done by real people. I’m sure this one will be deleted as well, that’s why I’m taking snapshot and will be posting this on social media. Customer service is unacceptable, we were told that the food will be ready for 6pm. Arrived at 6:10, food not ready. Waited till 7pm, and were told that it’s another 25 min. Excuse - Chinese New Year. How about this dear restaurant owners: do not feed your customers with promises. If you can’t deliver on time, then be transparent and let the customer know in advance, don’t just take an order that you cannot deliver. Hungry for money at customers expense, which is time? There are plenty of much better restaurants in this neighbourhood. Stay away from this place. Customer service is at 0% level.
