The structure in question is very interesting both for its location (very close to the town even if in the open countryside, on the edge of an oak grove) and for the quality of the buildings. With an appropriate renovation of the rooms and common areas, the Baglio San Pietro could certainly become a point of reference in rural hospitality in the Enna area. The swimming pool is very pleasant and the possibility of going horse riding, for a completely reasonable price, in the countryside of the area is really appreciable. In our opinion, the weak point of the Baglio is the restaurant, at least in our experience. Several dishes offered are presented as fruit of the territory, at km 0 (as far as this statement is concerned, it is legitimate to have some doubts). The cooking (apart from the excellent beer arista) seems to be the main problem: we received a well done cut and presented completely rare (the attempt to correct the error, once the seasoning was done, was not very fruitful ), the overcooked sausage ( semi charred ) and the fries served already cold. The owner must be acknowledged for having correctly removed the cost of both the steak and the fries from the final bill. However, we also appreciated the courtesy of the willing waiter. Breakfast is a small buffet with both homemade and industrial sweets (with some gluten-free options), and it is sufficient.
