It hurts my heart to write a bad review here. I've been going to BaaderCafe since I was a child. Unfortunately, both the service and the food were so subpar at lunchtime today. Incredible. I don't know who was in the kitchen today but the portions were tiny, some were burnt and I waited 1 1/2 hours to pay. (Even after asking several times) I almost cheated on the bill. I want the old quality at the old prices and an acceptable service back! Please ! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Greed for profit instead of criticism of capitalism. I have known the Baader for over 20 years and have always enjoyed being there. Yesterday I unfortunately had to experience a serious disappointment: the three of us were sitting at a table outside. When the shift changed, the first waitress cashed in and we were just halfway through the drinks. The new waitress asked twice if we wanted anything else, even though we hadn't finished drinking yet. When we had taken the last sip, it took less than three minutes for the waitress to tell us that if we didn't order anything else, we should please vacate the table as soon as possible. She was visibly embarrassed and said that she had to tell her boss on orders. We weren't planning on staying much longer anyway, but suddenly felt extremely unwelcome, especially since there was NO reservation in sight, NO guests were waiting for a table, and ALL tables inside were unoccupied (it was shortly after 6 p.m.). There were even smaller tables available on the terrace or used by the staff for smoke breaks... But obviously profit now has to give way to humanity and empathy. Very sad!! But there is probably no real life in the wrong... No offense, but maybe you are capable of criticism after all. PS: the chocolate cake is still very tasty. But then a second star.
