A hidden gem in Woodstock! Very cool place, it's quiet and cosy. Good selection of desserts and drinks. Definitely Will be going back here ! It's especially nice in winter because it's warm and cosy.

I decided to wear a Red to Bread (yes I'm bad with puns) I ended up blending in perfectly with the couch I was sitting on - mildly amusing for the sum total of 5 minutes. I like the fact that the seating is accommodating of "wider loads" and they are really comfy. The decor in general is a bit confusing and I think what throws the concept in general is the white granite counters - just feels a bit too domestic kitchen -. That said that are shiny and clean with no fingerprint or suspect marks in sight. My flat white was okay just a bit bitter for my taste - definitely required sugar. They offer a Bread Benedict with choices of the bread you would like which I think is nice ... maybe add English Muffin? When my breakfast arrived it was okay at best. The poached eggs were a bit underdone when cut open. The salmon confused me - it is obviously previously frozen because the pieces I got were the consistency of a flokati rug and grainy ... The way the pieces were hacked one would think they were offcuts. Work need to be with regards to the quality of salmon/salmon trout used - otherwise axe the salmon and do a caramelized bacon number instead - bad salmon pulls the standard down. I would like to see defined filleted pieces in future. I did feel the dish as a whole was a bit salty (from the salmon used) and lacked a decent punch of flavor. Incorporating a small amount of mustard into the hollandaise with that bright lemon flavor would help lift the dish I think. Overall it's a nice place to have coffee and enjoy the passers by before starting the day and the service is good. I would come back if they fixed the Benedict.
