Nous sommes les Ivoiriennes en visite à Tunis, à la recherche d'un restaurant avec un plat facile à manger. Nous avons été conquise par l'accueil et le goût de notre plat. Ils nous ont même offert un thé gratuit. Super. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wow, this was a delicious sandwich! Apparently they make the pita bread themselves. It was completely to my taste, so flavorful, and a little bit spicy. I'm from the US and I don't expect food to be completely to my taste! Don't hesitate-- go here! Very inexpensive as well. It's on a side street, and not crowded at all. 10 out of 10 ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I traveled to 66 countries and never felt so unwelcome in a cafe/restaurant in my life ! The opening hours are published as 8 am to 9 pm. I arrived to box food cafe at 09:12 am on Friday, the 6th October. The door was wide open and the floors were already cleaned (the cleaning lady was giving the final touches to the tables on the terrace). I stood at the door and was about to enter but the waitress gave me such a spiteful look that I asked in Arabic (I am a fluent Arabic speaker) if they were open. The girl ignored my question so I asked again : "are you already open for breakfast or not"? Again no reply and an even more angry look (If this is how the serving staff is in the morning I can only imagine their attitude at lunch time). Perhaps this is indicative of the general mood in Tunis but I for one won't be back to find out.
