Unfortunately I have to agree with the other bad reviews. At first glance, the restaurant makes an upscale impression. However, this evaporates relatively quickly when the food comes to the table. The price/performance ratio is simply not right. I had the burger (~19 euros) with extra cheese (+1.50 euros). I also had a cola (0.2l for 3.30 euros). The burger itself was pretty pickle heavy and the burger sauce was nothing special. The frozen patty wasn't anything special either. The fries were fried so crispy that it sometimes hurt to eat them. I actually like my fries crispy, but this was just too much. They were probably either older and then warm-fried in the deep fryer or simply left in too long. A note to the waitress that the fries were too hard and almost inedible was probably passed on to the kitchen, but otherwise had no consequences. For the children we had chicken nuggets with fries. The nuggets had a crispy breading, but were fried so hard that you almost felt like you were eating a cactus. Accordingly, the children did not eat them after the first few attempts. All in all, it was a meal that you could eat, that filled you up, but still left a very dissatisfied aftertaste. With these prices and this quality, the restaurant can really only survive because of the location. The fact that there are only small drinks at high prices also shows where the focus is. The customer should not be satisfied, but should simply leave as much money as possible. Most people don't come back anyway, as people don't usually visit the museum every few days/weeks. It is absolutely sufficient to save as much money as possible from the museum's constantly changing clientele through inexpensive meals. The food was good. I really liked the restaurant's decor. Unfortunately I didn't like that the salad dressing didn't come where I ordered. The service was friendly. I ate at Bertha's as part of a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Since, according to the Mercedes-Benz Museum website, the restaurant and the deli area belong together, I asked the deli in the morning whether you need to make a reservation for lunch in the restaurant for 9 people. I was told you don't have to. So we went to the restaurant at lunchtime. A rude employee greeted us there and asked if we had a reservation. I said that I didn't have one, but that morning I asked my colleague at the deli if they even needed one. All he said was, "I don't have any colleagues, I don't even know them." At first I wasn't surprised. Nevertheless, he went to the two empty group tables and pushed them together so that there was space for 9 people. I didn't really like the ambience itself either; it seemed like a classy McDonald's to me. The service lady was there very quickly and took the order, drinks and food came quickly. However, the daily menu board at the entrance said that there was Zurich-style schnitzel with spaetzle and fried broccoli. In our 5 orders of this meal, no one had broccoli. Therefore there is a star deduction. Nevertheless, the food wasn't bad and the portions were quite large. If the gentleman at reception hadn't reacted so rudely, it would have been a 5-star rating, but unfortunately not.
