Cosy little japanese themed restaurant with wide variety of sushi on the menu. Pork gyoza was a bit bland, but sushi is nice! Make your reservations on the weekend days, it can get busy fast! Asuka is a charming little (read: intimate) sushi shop. I came in between lunch and dinner, for a quick meal, so we found seating easily. Service was quick and prompt, our waitress was very pleasant. The sushi was good, I ate it all too quickly. The rice was nearly perfect (excellent grain, texture, and preparation, a tad too much rice vinegar for me though). The soy sauce was good. Their menu is solid, with interesting rolls. I wish they had a wider offering of tuna (seeing as Dalmatia, Kali in particular, exports sushi grade tuna to Japan) - perhaps a tuna uramaki, cuts of Otoro (but their tekka maki is good and surprisingly affordable). Their bathrooms are very clean (always a good sign). They played actual Japanese music (citypop and such), and the interior is truly charming. It's clear the effort invested in the interior is balanced by the quality of the food. (As they say here: svaka čast). I left content and uncomfortably full, and I plan on coming back.
