This place has RATS BE WARNED. A great ambience but sadly has rat issues. Whilst we were paying a large rat ran and hid within the tree centre-piece. The waiter was not shocked at all which shows it’s a common thing. She apologised but in my opinion we should have been heavily discounted as this is not a hygienic establishment to be eating at. She stated that a rat comes in through the skyline and down the tree centre-piece. I was shocked at how calm she was like but shows it’s a common occurrence. The owner needs to close its doors to the public until this issue is sorted. We are not in the 1900s, we should not be eating alongside vermin. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Great Restaurant with ultra interesting menu which is impossible to read without the smartphone's flashlight. Which continues into the dining process where I had to taste guess which dish I was trying because it was so dark you couldn't see it. And no I am not impaired or anything. I have great night vision. Lastly the waitress was mega nice and competent but it wouldn't hurt to stop by the table every now and then to check if everything is alright or if one maybe wants to order another drink or dish. I had to wave a waitress down every time and hence lost interest in ordering some more of the small dishes and really amazing drinks. Great restaurant but really needs some service briefing and a tad more light. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We were excited to visit asoka but their racist and rude customer service quickly ruined our night. The bouncers were overly aggressive and rude and worst not communicating with each other. We tried to ask the hostess about the wait and after making eye contact she ignored us. They told us we'd only have to wait 10-15 minutes but after 30 minutes of waiting then said it would be an hour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–250 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Upon returning you saw it had moved and then approached management, me. We were nothing but gracious in offering you immediate entrance as the group was clearly frustrated. Understandable on a long wait. One of the members of your group went inside to "scout" on the groups behalf, only to return saying that it wasn't for you. We parted ways.
