Aretea is a great restaurant. There are the typical Greek dishes and Italian food, which I haven't tried but which is also said to be very tasty. We had reserved a table (they should do better) and were welcomed very nicely. In addition to the normal menu, there was also a blackboard with a specialty, the daily rabbit. We quickly got our drinks and an ouzo. We shared the appetizer platter as a starter. Very rich and diverse. Vegetables, fish, mushrooms, tarama, broad beans etc. All very tasty. There was also fresh bread with a super delicious cream. Then came the main course. Large portions, with salad, crunchy vegetables and, for me, fries. And tsaitsiki. I ate lamb. It was very tender and flavorful. In between and with the bill, another ouzo was offered. I couldn't eat any more dessert, I was too full. Overall, a great evening with attentive but not intrusive staff. I deducted the ambience because it was sometimes very loud due to a larger group. But everyone feels that differently. In between, a rose seller came into the restaurant, his rose is still looking good in the vase after a week. Feel free to buy one for your friend, wife/husband - it's a nice memory of a great evening. Thank you M. for the rose and you both for a very nice evening.
