Absolute hidden gem in Rome! Food was fantastic, simple but yet an explosion of flavours. The wine they paired with my food was also excellent. Attentive waitress and sommelier. All of that at very decent prices! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €60–70

My husband and I are staying nearby, visiting from the UK for the first time. We stumbled across this restaurant by chance. On looking at the reviews we decided to visit and we have been absolutely blown away. This is some of the best food we have ever tasted. Literally. We simply cannot understand the negative reviews we read, although there weren't many anyway. There's always someone out there willing to complain about nothing. The service, décor, wine and staff were fabulous. The staff spoke English and the English pages on the menus were so helpful and generous to us as tourists. Most importantly though, the food was astounding. It was absolutely delicious and we were served the perfect portion sizes. The quality matches the price. You get what you pay for here. There's plenty of food and the quality is just amazing but if it's larger portions at cheaper price you want then you are meant for lower grade establishment my friend. We loved the produce being locally sourced also, the staff had genuine enthusiasm for this and it showed. Keep doing exactly what you do Ristorante Apuleius. Compliments to you all.
