Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot, Paid parking lot

We chose the restaurant by chance mainly as we didn't want a full blown meal and I really fancied a pizza. When we walked past the whole restaurant to my surprise was empty but looked inviting and well presented. The staff were friendly smiling and welcoming. We sat on the terrace and took a 4 seater for 2 I do like a bit of space, I ordered a Nona pizza without cheese and added onions and mushrooms as I don't eat dairy. My partner ordered the Tagliatelle with pesto and Parma ham. We didn't have to wait long. Both dishes were well cooked but both had issues that doesn't mean we didn't enjoy the experience just that it could have easily achieved 5 stars. The pasta was well cooked and the pesto good quality but the ham had been placed on top in slices ! It's hard to cut the ham on the pasta to distribute it, in an Italian restaurant (yes many years) the ham in pasta is generally found from the unsliceable part of the leg and processed to lardons then cooked and incorporated Italian food is designed to utilise every part to incorporate taste and flavour. The modern twist does not really improve the dish finely shredded and carefully laid on top would enable the client to stir the ham in if the ham is presented naturally. The pizza was tasty but the dough was quite thick for Napoli and rather chewy this would imply the dough was young and had not been given time to mature. It was early so maybe give a bit of slack but even then it was a bit heavy less dough would have been an improvement even but thin pizzas take experience and the young chef needs to practice and be guided by an experienced hand. The toppings were tasty but to be truthful were not given space to cook a great big pile in the centre 4-5 thick produced as always a wet pizza very slightly undercooked in the centre. The peppers and aubergine I estimate were purchased cooked where a few finely sliced veg evenly spread would have caught some heat the onions appeared on the bottom when placed on the top may have also caramelised slightly I could continue but I did actually quite enjoy the pizza just that it needed refining the clue being the fat edge in Italy is to reduce cost and ingredients if your going to be generous even over generous use the whole pizza and prepare fresh vegetables by air drying or just passing momentarily through the oven before storing and use. The service was friendly and chatty just slightly un professional we had our order taken but at no time was there a follow up of "is everything ok" we ordered Cider and it was local and delicious slightly sweet maybe a description or knowledge for advice would have made an option available . Overall we enjoyed our visit my partner stopped me at 3 stars I believe the restaurant is relatively new and of course serving tourists so many options become irrelevant but there's nowhere to hide with reviews everywhere . My advice is sit down Daily discuss the day and service and how in all areas to improve keep on top of it. And please accept any criticism kindly I'm a former owner so often critical and can be ignored if you want Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
