Food was OK. We had previously asked if we could take our dachshund with us - that was fine too. BUT: we asked for a bowl or bowl of water for our dog. The first waitress said it arrogantly and simply ran away. Another waiter’s response was “I’ll have to look.” He ran away just as easily even though we said they could give us a plastic bowl (for eating to go). Unfortunately nothing came of that. If we had known beforehand that you couldn't even provide the dog with a single-use plastic bowl, we would of course have brought something ourselves. On the whole, the cellars are very arrogant and sometimes even forgot our orders. The store is no longer visited :). Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

**Restaurant Alte Post** in Karlsruhe is a real treat! I recently had the pleasure of dining here. As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt the warm atmosphere. The rustic decor and friendly staff promised a pleasant experience. Now to the food: The **Gyros with Tzatziki** was outstanding. Tender, aromatic and perfectly seasoned – it transported me straight to Athens. The tzatziki that came with it was creamy and refreshing, a perfect complement. And then the dessert: **Sweet Galaktobureko**. A dream! Crispy layers of puff pastry covered a delicious vanilla cream, refined with honey. Every bite was a poem of textures and flavors. The service staff deserves special recognition. The two ladies were not only efficient, but also incredibly charming. Their warm treatment made the visit unforgettable.
