For me, a visit to the Hotel & Restaurant Alpenhof in Markneukirchen is simply part of my visits to my old homeland... be it for a planned birthday party, a spontaneous class reunion or just on a hike. The hotel is located in a picturesque landscape and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was simply fantastic. I had the schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad, and it was simply delicious. The portions were generous and the food was freshly prepared and tasty. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired. The seasonal variety of regional dishes and international specialties is always particularly impressive. The vegetarian options are also very inspiring and appealing, so there is something for every taste. However, my highlight of a visit is the wonderful nature, which you can explore directly from the Hotel Alpenhof.
