Dining here was an incredible experience. The service was exceptional—staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, with fresh, beautifully presented dishes that showcased authentic Japanese flavors. The sushi was especially memorable. What truly stood out was the thoughtful care from the team, making us feel valued and cared for throughout the meal. Highly recommend! The food was fresh and enjoyable, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we entered the restaurant, it was clear that we were treated differently from other guests. While other diners were politely accompanied to their tables, we were abruptly told, "There’s a table for you," in an unprofessional tone. It wasn’t clear if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for further instructions, and when we asked, the response was unnecessarily rude. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes for basic condiments like soy sauce and wasabi, even though the food was already on our table. While the sushi itself was delicious, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to the poor and discriminatory service we received. I recently visited Akindo sushi bistro and while the sushi was pretty good, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. Our server did not greet us when we arrived and treated us very differently than other customers. We completely understand if the service is slow, especially during busy times, but basic manners and respect are a must. Being rude and dismissive is unacceptable, and it definitely affected our experience. Given the lack of hospitality, I would not return to this place, nor would I recommend it. There are plenty of other restaurants with great food and, most importantly, good service. If there was an option to give 0 star I would have given that. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
