I’m American. Ten years ago, I married a German and moved to Germany. My husband told me American pizza is awful and I needed to try real Italian pizza. We’ve since been to Italy many times and the pizza was always “just okay.” I’ve simply always preferred American pizza because it’s what I know, but the Mexican Style pizza at this restaurant is by far the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. Every single bite was followed by “mmmmmm”. Tonight was our second time eating here. Our first time, my husband ordered the Mexican pizza, to which I replied, “Really? The one with the beans? Yuck. Beans don’t belong on pizza.” But I tried it and it was so good I told him we had to go back just two days later so I could order it myself. It is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in all of Italy. A little hidden restaurant but you are welcomed very nicely in the bar area and shown to the table. The pizza is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Were here 3 times for dinner. Parking: Parking is only on the gravel. There is a mini market next door.
