Who would've thought a former McDonald's would transform into such a cozy and inviting pub? Abby Road is a delightful surprise, offering a unique blend of history and modern charm. The service is friendly and efficient, and the beer selection is great, catering to a wide range of tastes. The British fare is delicious, with hearty portions that will satisfy any appetite, such as burgers, butter chicken and wings. The atmosphere is particularly lively on weekends, making it a good spot to unwind with old friends over good food and drinks. While the location may be a bit tricky to find, it's part of the pub's hidden gem appeal. *edit: I originally mentioned they have great butter chicken but I Typed battered fish. Got to read before I post. Nice experiences at Abbey Road Pub & Patio.On off nights the crowd is respectful and quiet. You can practically whisper to your company while the rest of the resteraunt maintains a lively murmur.On peak nights every table is full and the place is rather exciting!On this particular night, Kat, our waitress/bartender was incredible! We were looking for a relaxing Wednesday night pub experience and we were delivered exactly that.Nice selection of tap, as well as amazing potato skins, wings and poutine. The vegatarian options are decent with Greek wrap, veggie burger and pizza. I was feeling a curry poutine which I have had at other pubs and the kitchen was able to whip something up that perfectly hit the spot!Abbey road is a very cool little English pub located very close to home.
