The evening and night crew on the other hand are apparently irresponsible young adults with severe attitude problems with the exception of a very nice middle aged shorter women who i see in the evenings sometimes.The problem is with the young adults some of which and i mean this respectfully have a hard time with English which makes ordering difficult at times,I deal with people of all backgrounds as part of my regular job so I’m very understanding of other cultures doing their best to adapt however it does cause order correctness issues at times which is why i mention it.For the most part the problems have been little things like a missed straw or no salt packets when i asked which is no big deal until today and out of 15-20 mistakes this was the first time i have spoken up because the mess up would have caused a health issue for me due to the smell of the non plain burger.
I went on Dec 17 2023 at about 4:30PM and i ordered a PLAIN papa burger and specifically stated NOTHING on it and NO seasoning. Pretty simple request and everyone in the food industry would understand,i have asked for this before and never an issue before today.
I got the order and the order had a bunch of stuff on it, onion rings and several other condiments on the burger however i only looked at it for 2 seconds so i can’t say for sure what else. I told the young adult i ordered a plain papa burger so he took the bag and looked at it and said this is plain. I said no I’m sorry but plain means nothing on it at all and he said “oh”, he then sent the food back to get replaced which i was content with.
The food was about to be handed to me with the new order and it came back so quick i asked if it was an all new order in a new bag. I have a very strong reaction for smells and it was a health request, He talked to someone asking if it was a new bag and i could see they were giving attitude about the request. I said neverminded i would like a refund to which i got a death stare. They called over someone for the refund, the best way i can describe him so you know who i mean is a young neck tattooed male who looked like a hippie. I go through drive through's in my pajama's all the time so I’m not judging it's just the best way i can describe him.
I assumed the young hippie as i will respectfully refer to him was the supervisor as he was the one they called for the refund so i told him you guys need to respectfully get your stuff together every time there is something wrong. Before i could finish my sentence he gives me a death stare saying and i quote "what do you expect we are fast food", after i left i started wondering if he thought that was a valid excuse for bad service. I looked at the hippie and i said debit please and he said and i quote "oh you so want to pay now" and i looked him and said I’m sorry no i want it back on my debit card.The hippie started mumbling something and getting angry as a disturbed hive of bees about you want a refund i'm giving you a refund then he gave me the refund in change not on my debit.At this point i was given major attitude by the hippie and I said you guys need to get this place together your behavior and service is unacceptable which given the service and severe rude bhevior was a fair comment and i could and should have said a lot more.I heard the staff say something towards me as i drove off, i don't know what because i was driving away.
I don't know who hires the young adults there and i don't know why the rude behavior is acceptable to a paying customer,I say this as respectfully as i can the evening staff is incompetent in the sense they constantly get something wrong in the order.
The customer should get respect and understanding when the staff mixes up an order not death stares, rude comments and further underhanded comments as you drive away and the hippie should be fired.
