Ordered a burger and no vegetables, just burger bun cheese sauce. Came to $8!!!! Theb added a smoothie.. and it came 1" lower than the rim, asked for a regular, somehow got enough to fill the small in a regular cup brutal, Burger + turnover + Smoothie -> $17 lmao so much for going out for an affordable meal, next time will be a sit down Michelin star , would be cheaper and tastier :) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Teen Burger, Hot Apple Turnover

My husband and I decided to get teen burgers but as I have special dietary requirements we went into the restaurant instead of the drive through. The restaurant was so clean and tidy. We went to the cashier who greeted us immediately and I started explaining what I needed saying that I had a complicated order. She reassured me that they could do whatever I needed and I really appreciated her demeanor as she made me feel welcomed and not a bother as some other fast food restaurants have made me feel like I was a nuisance for asking about special food. I have a severe yeast allergy and she even asked the chefs to make sure that my food was not touched by any buns or anything that could cross contaminate my burger. I almost cried because that had never happened before. She told me in future to ask for a lettuce wrapped burger and they would have one made up for me no issues at all. Honestly I had the best teen burger. I couldn't eat the onion rings as they were breaded not battered but I was so happy to just get a burger without being made to feel like I was a pain in the behind. I did tell her I carry medication in case of the allergy and she actually started talking to me at our table because she was genuinely interested in what I go through. I hope that more people realize that we have a great restaurant right beside the Canadian Tire store. The staff was friendly and approachable and professional. Thank you A&W. We will be back now I know that they are taking my medical needs seriously. Not gluten allergy but yeast and unfortunately anything breaded or exposed to breading is a risk for me. I have been hospitalized for cross contaminated food that I thought was a safe food but unfortunately was cooked in the oil that breaded items were cooked in so I avoid restaurants or I barely eat anything due to the severity of the allergy..
