We returned to Angolino Greco with the expectation of once again enjoying their cuisine, which had left us with an excellent impression in the past. However, this time's experience was a bit disappointing due to the waiting times between dishes, which far exceeded the norm reaching almost half an hour. We understand that quality food takes time and that dishes are freshly prepared, but such a long wait meant that our hunger subsided and, in the end, we had to request take-out. When we expressed our disappointment about the wait, the owner reminded us that their restaurant is not a fast food restaurant, emphasizing that the dishes are freshly prepared. Although this information was not new to us, given our previous positive experience with the venue, the response seemed insensitive to our situation. We hope that this was an isolated case and that in the future it will be possible to find a better balance between the preparation of the dishes and the customer service. I'll add after the owner's response that just as you thank people for positive reviews, you should also react constructively to reviews that are not 100% positive. I want to clarify that my comment was intended as constructive advice, based on my experience in the restaurant industry. I fully understand the challenges of running an efficient service, especially when understaffed. However, I believe that extended waiting times between courses can impact the overall customer experience. On my previous visits, when there was a third waiter supporting the service, I noticed that the wait was significantly reduced. I also wrote that the food is very good and that we have come several times. It was definitely not my intention to denigrate your restaurant! Good day to you too!
