The summary is: an experience above expectations. Expectations which were already high, given the type of place and the dishes offered. Starting from the setting: sufficiently intimate, good separation of tables, beautiful, modern and creative furnishings. What you would call "a nice restaurant". We opted for the larger gourmet menu and were not disappointed: a journey through flavors and textures, with the use of excellent raw materials, decidedly satisfying and very well presented. The wine list was well-stocked and balanced, and the excellent advice from the knowledgeable sommelier was well appreciated. It has all the makings of an excellent gourmet restaurant, in an area that is decidedly not dense with this type of restaurant. I really appreciated chef Gabriele Piscitelli's interest in our experience at the end of the evening, demonstrating that cooking can be about inspiration and creativity, but must first and foremost please those sitting at the table. Compliments. Being in the historic center, coming by car it is not possible to park near the restaurant, but less than 50 meters away there are two convenient municipal car parks available. Magical place due to the presence of Gianna and her collaborator. We spent hours at lunch in perfect tranquility enjoying excellent and delicious food. We had a spontaneous dinner here last night and it was excellent! We did the 5 dish tasting menu, and I included the wine pairing which allowed me to sample some local wines that I otherwise might have overlooked! Our service was impeccable! The dishes themselves were excellent and quite filling! I think the highlight was the baccala or cod risotto with lemon shavings across the top! The only thing that was not quite 5 star was the dessert we found the pistachio cake needed something sweet to complement it, but it was paired with bitter chocolate and a sour lemon sorbet.
