Back in December 2024, I was invited to Kalbur balik restaurant for my farewell dinner by a great couple and friends, the place was small, homey but got variety of dishes to choose from. The portion can be ordered as how you’d like, and small enough so you can try several dishes. My top 3 picks were eggplant with sweet soy (I think) and yoghurt, grilled baby octopus and grilled squid stuffed with cheese. The place has a strict closing time at 10pm, by 9:40-9:45 the owner/manager will announce to everyone to finish before the closing time, a bit strange for a restaurant service but understandable.
