We are normally not tempted by the more modern and stylish restaurants but I am a chef myself and the reviews of 12 Cantin were just too intriguing. We were there at 6ish which is obviously early in Italy. The restaurant was empty which doesn't aid the atmosphere at that point. Initially, my lady wasn't impressed with my choice. However, Paolo took great care of us right from the beginning. Next, chef Massimiliano took his time to figure out what VEGAN options my lady would like. We immediately figured out that both truly cared about us. All the dishes were super yummy and the "Paccheri con porcini e tartufo mantecato" was beyond belief. The pasta was manifested perfection and the ceps to die for. After many years, Massimiliano was able to set a new benchmark. Bravissimo! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
