Exceptional Italian food, the pizza is fantastic. Staying in the Galata Tower area and enjoy finding these smaller owner run restaurants in Istanbul. Wanting Italian we found Olea Pizzeria and loved our dinner. After taking our order we were given hot bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Nice touch. My partner ordered the Siciliana Pasta with the homemade tomato sauce, roasted eggplant, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella. Wow, the wide noodle homemade pasta was fantastic and the homemade sauce is perfect. Great pasta dish. I ordered the Margherita Pizza and just loved my pizza. The crust is thin but tasty, the sauce has a fresh flavor and the cheese is fresh. Perfect pizza in my opinion. Service is polite and attentive. Highly recommend.
