Got hand rolls and tako yaki. The hand rolls had a lot of filling and more filling than rice which was great. Takoyaki was pretty good as well. Will definitely try this place again Food: 5

I've been driving past this take out restaurant numerous times over the fall season and finally paid them a visit. We ordered a couple of sushi platters for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The pieces were fresh and generous. There was also a nice variety of fish. To date, we ordered from them a couple of times already and it definitely will not be the last time. We like the convenience of being able to order online and it's always already packed and ready to go by the time we arrive at the scheduled time. Do note that you need to park along Mortimer and walk over the the restaurant as there's no parking directly outside and you don't want to street park outside as you will hold up traffic for those making a right turn at the lights. We had this beautiful Sushi from “Zenku Japanese To Go”. This restaurant is family-owned and I enjoyed talking with the owner's daughter. There were many orders even though it was a snowy day. I could tell that this place is popular with the locals! ( Look at all these Post-it messages! ) Please stop by and say hello to them when you come to Pape Village area! Beautiful sushi I ate just before Christmas. The shop is family-run, and I had a chance to talk with the owner's daughter, which was fun. Even though it was a bad day, there were a lot of orders, and I got the feeling that the restaurant is loved by locals as well. I also recommend the avocado and cucumber salad with vinegary miso dressing (A-CU salad) that they served with me!
