We had this beautiful Sushi from “Zenku Japanese To Go”. This restaurant is family-owned and I enjoyed talking with the owner's daughter. There were many orders even though it was a snowy day. I could tell that this place is popular with the locals! ( Look at all these Post-it messages! ) Please stop by and say hello to them when you come to Pape Village area! Beautiful sushi I ate just before Christmas. The shop is family-run, and I had a chance to talk with the owner's daughter, which was fun. Even though it was a bad day, there were a lot of orders, and I got the feeling that the restaurant is loved by locals as well. I also recommend the avocado and cucumber salad with vinegary miso dressing (A-CU salad) that they served with me! Been ordering here exclusively for my sushi since I moved to the neighbourhood a bit over a year ago. Their fish is great, down to the items that most other places may cheap out on, but what's truly impressive is their rice, how it's seasoned and how well the nigiri holds up. It was wonderful it was my sis Teri birthday and she got a homemade cake she loved it. The mad crab was amazing the workers were so nice it was just wonderful.
