My husband & I recently visited Milan for summer vacation and we had the pleasure of dining at Warsa Restaurant in Milan, Italy, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The cozy ambiance, warm hospitality, and, above all, the mouthwatering Eritrean cuisine made it a truly memorable evening for my husband and me. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with genuine smiles and impeccable service. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were commendable, as they guided us through the authentic Eritrean dishes and suggested perfect combinations for our meal. The menu at Warsa Restaurant showcased a wide range of traditional Eritrean delicacies, each bursting with unique flavors and vibrant colors. We started our culinary journey with the Zigni, a tender and aromatic beef stew, accompanied by injera, a spongy and tangy flatbread. The combination of flavors was simply divine, and it transported us to the rich culinary heritage of Eritrea. Next, we indulged in the derho, a mouthwatering We also tried the Timtimo, a flavorful lentil stew that left us craving for more. One of the highlights of our meal was the traditional Eritrean tea! Sipping the with water slowly, we savored every moment and enjoyed the sense of community that this ceremony represents. The attention to detail at Warsa Restaurant is truly impressive. The presentation of each dish was visually stunning, reflecting the passion and skill of the talented chefs. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients were of the highest quality, making every bite a true delight. Moreover, the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with its cozy seating arrangements and subtle Eritrean decorations, contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable evening. We felt transported to Eritrea, even though we were in the heart of Milan. Overall, Warsa Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided us with an authentic Eritrean dining experience that left us with beautiful memories. If you're looking to embark on a culinary adventure that showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Eritrea, I highly recommend visiting Warsa Restaurant in Milan.
