This was my first time here since it changed owners and name (it used to be Ruby Chinese Restaurant)... and we will NOT be coming back due to poor and slow service (all we got to taste was cold Chinese donut). We were seated at 12noon at a table for 5. My sister-in-law didn't know how many of us were coming, so at 12:10 we asked to get moved to a larger table for 8 people. This was done right away with no problems. We flagged down the waitress and put our paper order in no later than 12:20pm. At 12:30, we received a plate of chinese donut (that I had ordered to have with our congee order). The donut was cold and overly greasy. It did not taste fresh. By 12:40, no one had checked on us so my mom walked up to the bar/cash area to ask if our food was coming. They said "it's coming" (without checking in the kitchen) and dismissed her. At 12:45, I walked up and asked if our food was coming soon as some of us were on a lunch break ending at 1pm. She said "sorry, it's coming, it's coming" again without checking with the kitchen. She then said that our food took longer because we switched tables (which makes NO sense as we didn't even order until after we switched). By this time it was we decided we were leaving the restaurant, and informed them. They then leaned around the wall to look in the kitchen and said "it's coming" again but we saw no food coming at all. I have been to MANY dimsum restaurants and a 25 minute wait with no explanation/apology/update is very poor service (in my opinion). We left, hungry and frustrated by the experience. We will not be returning :(
