Early morning breakfast. They hardly had time to open their doors. Friendly staff. Quick service. Fresh food. Looking at the hustle & bustle of Erie St. even at that hour. It has a bit of history in the floors which told me. All around delightful experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30 Vegetarian options: Unknown Dietary restrictions: Unknown Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking Parking: I was there when doors opened & got a spot out front. Kid-friendliness: I don't know. There weren't any kids there when I went. Wheelchair accessibility: Not at the front. It's a narrow door.

I recently found myself in Windsor during the breakfast hour and wanted to find a local gem to eat at. Tucked into the Little Italy community Toast fits that bill. With an incredible breakfast menu that features staples and inspiring creations, it was hard to choose what to order. I decided to go with the Red Velvet Pancakes as I've never seen anything like them on any menu. They were nice and light and yet decadent with plenty of whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate. My only wish was that there was cream cheese icing between the layers instead of on top, under my whipped cream mountain. The establishment was clean and welcoming with friendly staff.
