this is such a gem in Edmonton. the vibe is so cozy and unpretentious i really loved it so much. the food was yummy and the staff were generally quite attentive. i like how they have a mix of comfort food and some nicer dishes as well. as a gluten and dairy free person sometimes i find that modern, fusion vegan cuisine like this can sometimes neglect gluten free considerations. so i was very pleased to see many gluten free options that were clearly marked. also the non-alcoholic drinks were so yummy ! the cafe is very aesthetic and cozy! however, the scrambled eggs were absolutely disgusting, it had chewy wet mushrooms and soggy vegetables with no seasoning and when i asked if i could change it they wouldn't let me. was gagging while i ate it. I am definitely not vegan, but tried The Moth Cafe with some friends. I had the Chips and Shrooms and they were pretty good. Fries were tasty and the coleslaw was good (as far as coleslaw goes). The fried mushrooms weren't gross, but they just didn't have much flavour. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the cafe has cool viney plants all over the ceiling.
