My takeout order was incorrect however after speaking to the manager on duty, I’m satisfied with how they dealt with the situation. On a positive note, this bar/lounge is probably the nicest joint in town with a grand entrance, impressive landscaping, a large parking lot with ample spots and of course stunning vistas of the lake. Super easy access from the freeway too. I’ll come back another time to give them another shot. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

The Laughing Loon is a true gem of Williams Lake. The smoked brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the cheesecake is a decadent dream. The restaurant is always clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Laughing Loon is a must-visit. Not impressed. My husband and I were passing through yesterday afternoon and stopped for dinner. To start with my drink came with a fly squished on the inside of my glass and the service, she said sorry and got me another. The service was definitely lacking. The waitresses spent more time visiting with each other by the bar than they did caring for their customers. My husband wanted a pop refill which wasn't offered until we had finished our dinner and he got up and left. I told her about that and she said sorry but really could have cared less. I asked for the bill and received it but ended up going to drop it off on the way out because she didn't come back. The other thing was the price of the fish & chips, 26.50 is really high, and it wasn't even halibut. We won't be back.
