Tails was where we had our very first dinner in Riga, Latvia, to kick off our long-awaited Baltics trip through Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. I couldn’t have imagined a better (though pricier) start. With its stylish interior, attentive service, and excellent flavors, this restaurant really shines, especially with fish, seafood, and creative takes on traditional dishes. Some of the dishes we tried included Tuna Tataki, Grilled Octopus, Marinated Eggplant (absolutely fantastic!), Halibut, and even a dessert topped with dried ants (yes, ants!). One dish I especially recommend is a lettuce salad with feta cheese and shrimp on top, an absolute gem and a must-try for anyone visiting! (Thank me later) From the very first moment, our waiter guided us well, and the service was spot on. In the end, we paid around €120 for this rather amazing dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates high-quality food and doesn’t mind paying a little extra for it. Amazing restaurant, design and service is the best I've seen in Latvia. Regarding the food, the chef of this restaurant knows what he is doing and does it 100 percent. I advise everyone to visit this corner of paradise with fantastic food and atmosphere. Many thanks to you all - owners, employees and especially the CHEF . I have never eaten such fish - I live on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, where fish and seafood are commonplace - but you are just a gourmet paradise, thank you and Ahoj
