What a chaotic experience this was. When we entered, we waited for five minutes by the door. Not a single employee seemed to be the host(ess) and came to greet and/or seat us, even though there was 3+ groups waiting. Eventually one of us had to flag down a waiter who seated us out of pure obligation. We got seated and ordered drinks, then starters, then were told that the chicken satay we wanted had run out. We picked new mains and were told that 4/8 main dishes were no longer available. At 7pm We picked new food and 45 minutes passed and we still hadn’t even received our drinks yet. Multiple tables around us got seated later and finished their starters before we even had our drinks. We had to flag down the manager, who was very kind to us, who made sure we got our drinks and food quickly afterwards. The food itself was quite bland in taste and definitely not worth the money it cost. All personnel was bland too, except for that manager and one blonde waitress who was very kind and actually seemed to know something about customer service. I work in customer service myself and it is not to act like a robot, but that seems to be a city-centric problem here in Maastricht. Would definitely not recommend going to Loetje Maastricht.
